We are an independent organization separate from the Somers Volunteer Fire Department and the Somers Fire District.

We exist for the sole purpose of the Good and Welfare of the members of the Somers Fire Volunteer Department and  Somers Exempt Volunteer Firemen's Benevolent Association.  Having been Chartered since 1977 as a Benevolent Association, we are a brotherhood of members, who, as provided by the State of New York's 2% initiative, support one another, through financial assitance as necessary.
